Application for the 1st Semester B.A., B.Sc, B.Com Honours Program & Program Course (under CBCS), Academic Session of 2021-2022.

 NOTICE

It is notified that the following dates have been decided for admission to and commencement of 1st Semester B.A., B.Sc, B.Com Honours Program & Program Course (under CBCS) for the Academic Session of 2021-2022.

Date of opening of

ONLINE PORTAL for APPLICATION

02/08/2021 (06:00 pm)

Last Date for Application

20/08/2021 (11:59 pm)

No ONLINE APPLICATION shall be received after the expiry of the last date of application as per this NOTIFICATION. Requests for extension of the last date of application after the expiry date shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

A student may submit an application to B.A/B.Sc/B.Com Honours program & Program Course after passing the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or examinations conducted by Indian School Certificate (ISC) or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other board recognized as equivalent provide he/she has passed in at least four subjects with English as Compulsory Subject, excluding Environmental Studies/Environmental Science/Environmental Education.

Admission to all Honours Program Courses will be based strictly on merit. Merit shall be calculated as per the following norms:

Merit= {Marks obtained in English + Marks obtained in the subject opted for Honours + best marks of other two subjects [excluding EVS, the subject opted for Honours and English]}/4

If the student does not have the specific subject opted for Honours in his/her previous course, the procedure for Merit Calculation will be as follows:

Merit={Marks obtained in English+Marks in three other best of subjects excluding EVS}/4.

University Examination, 2021 Result & PPR/PPS apply

 NOTICE As directed it is hereby notified that the results of U. G. Part-II / III (Honours/General) Examinations, 202 1 and U.G. 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester, Examinations, 2021 shall be published on 21st August 202 1. The results will be available at nbuexams.net/nbuexams.com from 4:00 PM onwards for the colleges and from 5. 00 PM onwards for the students. The colleges may download the provisional result sheets from 4:00 PM onwards. The students shall insert their registration number in the “search for results” option to get the results and download their mark sheets. The students, if desired, may apply online by clicking the option “Apply for PPR / PPS” in the portal nbuexams.net for reassessment/post-publication scrutiny from 13 th  September 2021 at 12:00 noon to 19th September 2021 11:59 PM .
